We offer a range of authentic and immersive small group or private experiences on our farm. These change throughout the year, due to the seasonality of our produce: During our Australian black winter truffle season we offer truffle hunts and immersive packages as well as our annual End of Season Feast under the oaks. In summer our tasting room is open Fridays to Sundays for truffle product tastings and purchases. Sample our range of truffle products and learn about what truffle is, what makes it so special, how we grow and harvest it and how to use it. Truffle Hunt and Harvest Lunch
Our signature tour!

Our signature tour! On this fully inclusive small group experience you will join Ina and one of our truffle dogs in our truffière for a real-life truffle hunt. Learn how we grow our black winter truffle and how we train our truffle dogs to sniff out these culinary treasures. See firsthand how we find and unearth truffle – you may even get a chance to get your hands dirty and dig one up yourself! The scent of a fresh black winter truffle, straight from the soil is something you’re guaranteed to remember for a long time! Afterwards you will warm up by the roaring wood fire as you sit down for your 4-course truffle lunch prepared in the open kitchen by Timo, with fresh truffle in every course! Taste for yourself why truffle is such a special ingredient! Each course comes paired with one of our favourite local wines (or alternative drinks on request) - all included in your ticket!
A Day in the Life of a Truffle Hunter
All inclusive 2 night stay experience!

This is a one-of-a-kind immersive experience for the real truffle (and dog) lover! Spend a day walking in the shoes or gumboots of a Tasmanian truffle hunter. Experience all the elements of unearthing the highly sought after truffle – from training your dog to cooking up a truffle feast – on this immersive two-night, all inclusive experience with Truffledore owners, Timo and Ina. You will be staying in our farm stay accommodation for two nights and have the full undivided attention of truffle farm owners Ina and Timo! Starting with a farm tour, and a meet and greet with our three gorgeous truffle dogs, you will then get to choose the dog you want to work with and learn how to train your dog to find the scent of a ripe truffle! After you've completed a training session and built rapport with your dog, you'll head off into the truffle farm for a real life truffle hunt! You will learn how to work with your dog to find truffle, how to assess if the truffle is ripe and ready for harvest, how to dig and unearth it and later how to clean and grade your truffles! After an eventful day you'll join Timo in the kitchen to learn how to make the most of your fresh harvest and cook up a delicious truffle dinner! Be as involved and hands on as you wish or sit back and let Timo do all the hard work while you enjoy a well-deserved glass of Tassie Pinot by the fireplace! Two nights of accommodation and all meals and drinks (with meals) included. Maximum of four people! $2980 total for two people in our Oakwood Cottage, $2950 in the Hollyoak Cottage.

This is the ultimate truffle weekend for two! A full package that includes two nights (Friday to Sunday) of accommodation in one of our B&B cottages, cooked breakfast (truffle omelette sound good?) and our Truffle Hunt & Harvest experience for 2 people on the Saturday! On this small group experience you will join our truffle harvester and dog in our truffière for a real-life truffle hunt. See firsthand how we find and unearth truffle – you may even get a chance to get your hands dirty and dig one up yourself! The scent of a fresh truffle, straight from the soil is something you’re guaranteed to remember for a long time! Afterwards you will warm up by the roaring wood fire as you sit down in our farmhouse restaurant for your 4-course truffle lunch! ..... Package includes: 1) Two nights accommodation 2) Breakfast both mornings 3) Truffle Hunt & Harvest Lunch experience for 2 people ..... Total cost (for 2 guests) is $1,140 in our Hollyoak Cottage or $1,180 in the larger Oakwood Cottage.

We celebrate the end of winter and another successful truffle season with a magical long table feast under the oak trees, fairy lights and stars (weather permitting)! Showcasing the last of our black winter truffles, we invite special guest chefs to create a degustation banquet served with matching wines. Bookings will open soon!

TRAIL GRAZE Paint & Picnic
$65 per person
For this year's Trail Graze event The Truffledore are partnering with local Aboriginal Family business Palawa Pigments to bring you our Paint & Picnic experience! Through raw earth, deep ochres, natural organics and minerals, Palawa Pigments bring to life the whispers of the past, the rhythm of the present and the knowledge that Country is always speaking. Andrew and Jacqui will guide you as you paint a scene from our truffle farm using handcrafted traditional watercolour paints. Meanwhile connect to Country through food as you enjoy a picnic platter created with truffle and other produce from our farm.
